Kitchen Inspiration-Contemporary in frame

This week I am getting inspiration from two similar Scandinavian kitchens. Both kitchens are in frame which is a traditional style that most people would be familiar with-but what really sets these kitchens apart is the combination of inset panel doors (commonly known as ‘shaker’ style doors) with a flat door. This door style combination along with brass accents of hinges, taps and legs  makes this an altogether more contemporary and sophisticated look. Also I love the Carrera marble worktop –though marble is very porous and I would always recommend a silestone (by Cosentino) worktop-the leather finish Lyra and Lagoon look great. So here’s my mood board for my own project. As the kitchen I’m designing is in a large open plan space I’ve combined ‘Elephants breath’ on the tall and wall units with ‘Manor house grey’ on the base units and island.
